Share your memories and experiences with us by writing a blog throughout Welcome Weekend and Induction...

The subject of your blog should be My Welcome Week.  The theme is open to individual interpretation but entries must have Welcome Weekend and Induction activities at their heart.  You may include photographs within your blog.

The judges will select one blog which best illustrates the theme of the competition.  In choosing the blog they will be looking for one which is focused, well written and entertaining, as well as considering the blogs originality, personality and interpretation of the brief.

Each blog entry must be tagged My Welcome Week 2012. Entries without this tag will not be considered.

Competition period: Blogs should cover the period of Welcome Weekend (Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 September) and Induction (Monday 17 September to Friday 21 September).  Your final blog entry should be on or before Sunday 23 September. Winners will be notified on 3 October 2012 by email.

Publication: The Communications Division reserve the right to publish extracts from the winning entry. Entries deemed to be inappropriate for publication will be withdrawn.
