Well people the 28 day programme finished at the beginning of July and what a 28 day experience we had.
We have had a pretty much dry time (hence the title) particularly challenging was the week where the mornings were in the 20's and on the Astro Pitch....boy does that reflect the heat!
The whole experience has been massively enjoyable...even the early starts. The programme has been challenging for all taking part, with some big volumes of training, but also some rewarding changes....and the best thing...is that the majority are still training hard and meeting me Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30am for an early morning high intensity class..which is my favourite achievement.
I have had abuse about my music tastes, timings for exercises (sorry) and the odd mistaken word....'you have more than half way to go' was the favourite mistake (not very motivating I know).
For those that are interested the training program consists of resistance training followed by higher repetitions to increase the metabolic effect of the exercise (basically more calorie usage for doing nothing) and then 10 minutes of people crawling, pretending to be super heroes and moving like a crab...sounds great I know...what I get to imitate my favourite comic hero and move like my favourite decapod crustacean (I have a partner who has a PHD in cuttlefish!).
This is done 4 times during the week with optional cardiovascular days to create a NEW YOU!
On top of this you get an eating plan to follow that accelerates positive changes, this is tough to follow, but make some small changes to current eating and you will still get successful results
Anyway....massive thank you to those that took part for giving me the all their energy for 4 weeks and making the whole time fun in the sun.
